KOTO is a Vietnamese social enterprise specialising in providing at-risk and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam an opportunity to undertake a 24-month holistic hospitality training program. KOTO is based in Hanoi and has supported more than 1,000 graduates to end the cycle of poverty and truly empower our trainees to realise their dreams.

Job Purpose:
- The Enterprise Director is a detail-oriented and driven Director of Business Development to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies. The responsibilities of the Enterprise Director include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with stakeholders, and notifying partners of key business developments. They should also be able to assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data.
- To be successful as an Enterprise Director, he/she should be persuasive and have strong business and operational acumen. Ultimately, an exceptional Enterprise Director should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, empathetic and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an operational plan and budget which incorporates proper oversight, goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of KOTO.
- Focus on the social enterprise activities which are KOTO’s revenue streams by being hands-on with the KOTO-specific restaurants, catering, cooking demo/classes fundraising, marketing, event, sales and related activities.
- Responsible for setting annual targets, incentive programs and enterprise objectives/goals and driving subordinate teams to execute action plans in order to achieve targeted goals.
- Seek the donation in - kind, monitor the Enterprise cost and expenditures effectively.
- Participate in Enterprise staff recruitment, training/coaching, performance evaluation promotion and termination activities (when required).
- Work closely with CHR/CFO to set up an Incentive scheme for employees based on performance results.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
- Assess marketing, sales activities as well as supplier and vendor operations to provide constructive recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Direct marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
- Select automation software systems and platforms that best meet enterprise needs.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
- Research emerging trends and recommend new offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
- Prepare all documentation and reporting required for requests for proposals or and the direct supervisor
- Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with other community groups, funders, stakeholders and other organizations to help achieve the goals of KOTO
- Build up working culture, bond and connection among trainees and staff as KOTO’s vision and core value.

- Provide brief monthly Enterprise reports including: revenue/expenditures reports

Enterprise Director’s requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master’s Degree is advantageous.
- Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Detail-oriented and persuasive.
